Booklets

Lyrics-print bash tools

This is a set of simple bash scripts that allows to print a text file with typical song lyrics (or poetry) on cd booklets (with proper signatures), lyrics sheets (the ones you find in vinyl discs — requires A3 paper), A5 booklets or just plain A4 sheets for long side binding.

Most of the scripts use enscript (it has been developed and tested only with GNU enscript) and the PSutils.

For the scripts to fully work, you'll also need the lyr highlighting rules that you can download below: I don't know where you should put them exactly, as my old enscript version seems to expect them in a different place than new versions do. If you want, you can simply remove the option --pretty-print=lyr from the enscript command line in the scripts.
